"How can we improve our training content to better serve our clients and inspectors?"
This is a topic that IDC always bring up to the trainer as we strive to provide updated and relevant content to help our participants get the most out of the technical training.
Holding the philosophy of "Your Progress, Our Concern" and the strive for improvement, what makes IDC's Certified Welding Inspector training different?
- Continuous review and update on course content
With the feedback gathered from our past participants, we are able to update our modules and continue to provide relatable content that meets the latest requirement and demand from the industry.
For instance, after observing that many inspectors face difficulties in the area of WPS, PQR and Welder Performance Qualification Certificate, we have included these into our course content to help inspectors to familiarise themselves in these crucial component.
- Combination of classroom and practical learning
Our trainer firmly believe that a pure classroom learning is insufficient to provide a well-rounded knowledge in performing welding inspection. As such, we have introduced practical session in our welding inspector training to complement the theory from classroom session with hands-on inspection activities.
- Preparation for certification assessment
As acquiring competency certificate will help inspectors to venture further in their career, our Certified Welding Inspector training also prepare participants for 2 main certification assessment: API 577 and TUV/ IICS 3.1.
Upon passing the exam, inspectors will receive certification from the respective institution recognising their competency and knowledge in performing welding inspection job.
