Introduction

This program has two interrelated purposes:

  • Firstly, to introduce students to the safe operating environment and inspection procedures of Mobile Class Cranes
  • Secondly, to enhance better knowledge and skills in Mobile & Crawler Crane Inspection

Instruction will include lectures, discussion, video, Power-Point presentations and practical lessons by using an actual crane (provided Covid 19 situation allows) .

 

Course Objective

At the end of the course, delegates will:

  • Become a competent personnelto inspect mobile cranes and related lifting tackles and
  • Be able to understand and interpret relevant and applicable standards.
  • Become confident in caring out difficult tasks related to inspection of mobile

This course also prepares delegate for this certification Exam:
TUV / IICS 4.2  Certified Mobile Crane Inspector

 

Participants can now pursue TUV / IICS 4.2  Certified Mobile Crane Inspector certification with support of TUV Nord, the international certification body.
